Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu)
Copper Tripeptide-1, commonly known as GHK-Cu or copper peptide, is a copper complex of the GHK tripeptide and is used as an ingredient for skin and hair cosmetic formulations. It is supplied as a bluish to bluish-purple crystalline powder and is easily soluble in water. The product is controlled according to an in-house quality specification with a purity of ≥99.0%. Key quality parameters include GHK peptide content, copper content, pH, residual solvents, heavy metals and microbiological limits.

Description
Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu), CAS No. 89030-95-5, is a copper-peptide complex formed from the tripeptide Gly-His-Lys and copper. Copper Tripeptide-1 and GHK-Cu are established names associated with the same CAS identity in FDA and PubChem records.
The product is supplied as a bluish to bluish-purple crystalline powder and is easily soluble in water. A 0.5% aqueous solution should be clear and transparent without obvious flocculent material. The pH specification at 1 mg/mL is 5.0–7.0.
Purity is specified at ≥99.0%, GHK peptide content at ≥70.0%, and copper content at 10.0–16.0%. Residual solvents, heavy metals and microbiological limits are also controlled according to the current in-house specification.
